A Cement Mix Estimate Begins With The Finished Or Wet Concrete Volume. If You Already Know The Required Volume In Cubic Metres, Enter It Directly. Otherwise Use The Slab, Round Pad Or Multiple Sections Option To Calculate The Wet Volume From Measurements.

The Calculator Then Uses The Dry-Volume Factor You Enter To Convert The Wet Concrete Volume Into The Material Volume Used By Your Estimating Method. That Adjusted Volume Is Divided Across Cement, Sand And Aggregate According To The Ratio Parts You Enter.

A Ratio Written As Cement : Sand : Aggregate Describes The Relative Parts Used In The Calculation. For Example, A Ratio With Three Numeric Parts Has A Total Equal To The Sum Of Those Parts.
